The SIA Door Supervisor Refresher Course, awarded by Highfield Qualifications, is a mandatory training programme designed for licensed door supervisors who need to renew their SIA licence. It ensures that individuals remain up to date with the latest industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
Who is it for?
This course is for existing SIA-licensed door supervisors whose licence is due for renewal and who must complete the required top-up training as specified by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).

Is a first aid qualification required before attending?
Yes. You must hold a valid Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) or equivalent certificate with at least 12 months remaining.

There are multiple-choice exams and a practical demonstration of physical intervention skills.
Q: Will I receive a certificate?
Yes, successful candidates will receive a certificate confirming they have completed the refresher requirements.
Q: Can I take the course online?
No, this course must be completed in person due to its practical components.
Q: What do I need to bring to the course?
A valid form of ID (e.g., passport or driving licence), your current first aid certificate, and your SIA licence number.
Q: What happens if I don’t take the refresher course?
You won’t be able to renew your SIA licence, meaning you can’t legally work as a door supervisor.
