FAQ

Q. Do I need this level 2 qualification to take my SIA door superisors course?

To undertake your SIA door supervisors course you need an EFAW qualification. At 168 training this is included so you do no need to pay for this additional course.

Q: Is EFAW a legal requirement?

Not always. It’s not a legal requirement for everyone, but employers must provide “adequate and appropriate” first aid. In many workplaces, especially higher-risk ones, EFAW helps meet that legal duty.

This course takes 1 day on site to complete

Q. Are there any exams in EFAW?

No written exam, but there is a practical assessment by the trainer to test skills and understanding

Q.How long is the EFAW certificate valid?

 3 years

Q.What are the key topics covered in EFAW?

CPR, recovery position, choking, bleeding, shock, seizures, minor injuries

Q.What’s the difference between EFAW and FAW?
