The Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), certified by Highfield Qualifications, is a practical one-day course designed for individuals who wish to become qualified first aiders in the workplace.

This course is ideal for staff working in low-risk environments who are designated as appointed first aiders, as well as anyone seeking basic emergency first aid knowledge.

Q. Do I need this level 2 qualification to take my SIA door superisors course?
To undertake your SIA door supervisors course you need an EFAW qualification. At 168 training this is included so you do no need to pay for this additional course.
Q: Is EFAW a legal requirement?
Not always. It’s not a legal requirement for everyone, but employers must provide “adequate and appropriate” first aid. In many workplaces, especially higher-risk ones, EFAW helps meet that legal duty.

No written exam, but there is a practical assessment by the trainer to test skills and understanding
